CATEGORY B PLAYERS
Eligibility
- Players having the FIDE rating of 2000 & below from 01.04.2022 to 01.04.2025 are only allowed to participate in this event.
- Any player who finished 1st or 2nd in the rating restricted FIDE rated event in the last one year (08.04.2024 to 07.04.2025) are not eligible to participate.
- Any UNRATED Player or INDIAN Player without a FIDE ID also can take part in CATEGORY – B and CATEGORY – C Tournament in the 2nd Namma Bengaluru International Grandmasters Open Chess Tournament 2025.
- AICF and KSCA registration mandatory for the year 2025-26
Tournament Rules
- System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 10 rounds.
- Time Control: 60 Minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1 for entire game.
- Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes however will not be shared.
- Accommodation: Lodging can be booked for participants of this event on
single/double/triple sharing basis.

- Those Players who are registered with Bengaluru in KSCA on or before 31.03.2025 will be considered as Bengaluru Players.
- No Free Dormitory Accommodation For Bangalore Players.
